Cancellation Policy

A YMCA membership card will be issued to all members of the association and this card will serve as a pass to gain entrance to the facilities. The membership card must be shown at the member services desk to gain entrance to the locker rooms. All YMCA members are entitled to unlimited usage of the pool, gym, fit centre, courts and drop-in programs. A startup fee of $25 is required from new Plus, Adult, Senior & Family members of the YMCA. A membership that has lapsed for 3 months is also considered to be a new membership.

GUEST PASSES
A YMCA Adult Plus member can bring in an unlimited amount
of guests but the same person only 3 times at no charge. After
the same guest has been signed in three times for free the
regular day pass prices apply. YMCA annual/monthly members
can bring in unlimited guests but the same person only 3 times
@ $4.00 and after the same guest has been signed in three
times the regular day pass prices apply.
TOTE BASKET RENTAL
$1.25/month or $15.00/year + GST
A tote basket can be rented at any time throughout the length
of a membership. The charges will be pro rated so that the
tote basket rental expires the same time as the membership.
Members are encouraged to put their tote baskets with their
pre-authorized payments.
TOWEL PRIVILEGE
$6.25/month or $75.00/year + GST
Towels can be rented daily from the front desk for $1.25/towel.
An annual or continuous member can have towel privileges put
on PAC payments.
VISITING ANOTHER YMCA
Your membership card will be recognized when visiting
other YMCA's or YM-YWCA's in Canada. The number of visits,
however, may be restricted depending on the policies of each
facility.

Membership Payment Options
MONTHLY PRE-AUTHORIZED PAYMENTS
A convenient way to purchase your membership as it is continuous
and will automatically renew itself annually until you want
to cancel it. Monthly payments are debited from a bank account,
Visa or MasterCard. If the membership payment is debited from
your bank account it will be taken out on the 1st of every month,
but if Visa or MasterCard is used the day that the membership
is purchased will be the day the payment is debited.
ANNUAL PAYMENTS
Pay for an annual membership all at once with cash, cheque,
Debit card, Visa or MasterCard. This payment option must be
renewed annually.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELING PRE-AUTHORIZED MEMBERSHIPS
A member may cancel his/her membership at any time. The
request must be made in writing and the membership card returned.
To stop payment for the following month, cancellation must be
made 15 days prior to the next payment date. Failure to return
the membership card will result in a service charge.
CANCELING ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS
It is possible to obtain a refund for your annual membership
under special circumstances. Please inquire at the Member
Service Desk. Refunds will not be processed without the return
of your membership card.
MEMBERSHIP EXTENSION POLICY
Members who are unable to use the facility due to various reasons are able to put there membership on hold for a period of time up to one year. To do this your membership card must be turned in and a hold form filled out and handed in to the front desk 15 days prior to your payment due date.
