PLEASE NOTE: This schedule is effective Monday, January 2, 2012.
We will post our lane swim changes with as much notice as possible within the YMCA. Feel free to call us prior to your swim to confirm the number of lanes available. Call us at 652-7515.
We are holding a Day Camp in the YMCA From February 21 - 24th. Please be advised that the day camp typically does a morning swim (10 am - 12 pm) and an afternoon swim (2:30 - 4:30pm) Thank you for your understanding.

SWIMMING POOL GUIDELINES
Our 25 meter pool is 0.9m (3 feet) in depth at its most shallow point and 9 feet at its deepest point. The water in our pool is maintained at 82F providing a comfortable environment for lessons, lane and recreational swimming.
Children 5 yrs and under must be within arms reach of an adult at all times as per YMCA Aquatic Admission Guidlines.
Lane swim is for individuals ages 16 and older, swimming in a continuous fashion. (Please contact the Aquatics Director for exceptions)
Aquafitness/Aquastep classes are taught both in the shallow and deep end. Floating aids are available.
Please allow 5 minutes between lane swim and aquafitness for set up and clean up.
Lane swim availability may change due to day camps, youth programming and swim lessons. Please watch for changes posted.
Day camps will be using the pool on days of inclement weather, there is often NO NOTICE for these changes.
Lane swimmers are REQUIRED to swim in a circuit format during lane swim. Please respect the lifeguards instructions.
Please ensure you have a cleansing shower before entering the swimming pool.
LOCKER ROOM POLICY
There are four different locker rooms: Women's, Men's General, Family, and Men's Plus change rooms. Showers are available in all locker rooms along with day use lockers.
The Men's Plus and Women's Only Locker Rooms are for adults 19 years of age and older.
Women may bring their preschool (5 yrs and under) daughters into the youth locker room.
Men may bring their preschool (5 yrs and under) sons into the men's locker room.
Parents changing their opposite gender children MUST use the Family locker room.
Parents changing their same gender children older than 5 yrs must use the Men's, Female Youth or Family locker rooms.
The Family Locker Room is for parents with young children.
The Access locker room is for people with disabilities requiring the accessible shower and changing facility.
Children are not permitted in the Men's Plus locker room.
Locks are not for sale at the Front Desk but, you may borrow a lock for the day by providing photo I.D.
You may bring in your own lock for daily use.
Any locks left on overnight will be removed and the contents of the locker will be kept for two weeks.
Day lockers (which take quarters) are available near the member services desk for valuables.
The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
FACILITY GUIDELINES
YMCA Saskatoon's Fitness Centres are available for all members 18 years and older during our business hours.
Youth members 13-17 years old have the opportunity to set up a Fitness Consultation in order to gain access to the Fitness Centres.
Our Fitness Centres contain machine weights, free weights and cardio equipment such as treadmills, stationary bikes, cross-trainers and stair climbers.
Locks are available for trade at the Member Services desk. Be sure to bring your membership card or a piece of I.D. as collateral.
Proper attire must be worn while in program areas at all times. Indoor, closed-toe athletic shoes must be worn at all times during dry land programs and while in the fit centers.
We request that you turn off your cell phone in program areas and fitness classes.
Taking photos or videos is prohibited on YMCA property without prior approval from our CEO.
PROGRAM GUIDELINES
Availability of programs is subject to member demand. Schedule is subject to change without notice.
Aquatic lessons and registered programs require a Family Advantage or Individual Memberships.
Children under the age of 12 should be either attending a Y program or under the direct supervision of a parent or adult guardian.
Children under 12 yrs are not permitted to access the conditioning room unless in a supervised program.
